Uses
It is a depurative plant. It facilitates childbirth. The leaves and roots are used in sterility and impotence. The roots are chewed, lightly burned against sore throats and sore throats. A pregnant woman should not use this plant in any form because of the risk of contraction.

It is a plant that can reach 1 meter in height and the rustling of the leaves produces an unpleasant odor. It grows in all damp land as a weed, but it is a great medicinal plant. A decoction or infusion of the leaves has a pleasant taste even though the plant has an unattractive scent. The flowers are yellow. The fruits are narrow, arching pods with an average of 12 seeds. In Africa, the population wrongly gives it the name of kinkeliba. Rather, it is the fake kinkeliba.

Boil 15 g of Cassia occidentalis leaves in a liter of water. Have a drink before going to bed.
Note: The leaves are febrifuge and cause profuse perspiration; they also increase urine output and are mildly laxative. The root is also a diuretic, an antibiotic, and a little more laxative than the leaves.
